I’m a 26 year-old stay-at-home mum. Never have I imagined that I would be a stay-at-home mum. But here I am, giving my best to my adorable sons. There is nothing I would trade with the time I have with them. I personally strongly believe in bonding during the first year of a baby’s life. Even better if I could keep it going for a couple of years to come.
It’s hard to be staying at home dealing with a toddler constantly on the move, poking new holes, pulling newly discovered cables, climbing onto furnitures, tasting somebody’s shoes, etc AND a baby needing attention at awake times, feeding times… AND at the same time making sure I have the time to keep our family nest neat and comfortable to live in, time for myself (to keep myself sane, e.g. reading, writing, going on the Internet, etc). It’s a challenge, but a challenge well-tackled with experience.
The contents of this blog are meant for Edward and Oliver to peruse through and see their growing up days. This is also a good place to keep quotes and wise sayings for my sons to reflect on when they are old enough to understand.
I have always enjoyed reading. But for now, the books that I read are parenting books, books to do with babies, toddlers, discipline, fun & play, sleep, eat, growth…
I intend to summarize and put my own thoughts on what I have read from various books, into this blog. It acts as my own notes where I can come back and refer to, as well as a sharing blog to all mums out there who do not have the luxury of time to read all those books.
I hope my blog will be of help to some of you, entertain and make you smile. And know that you are not the only one going through what you are going through right now!
