LOVES to play hide and seek. – In the house – downstairs at the courtyard –
Can now sit through a preschooler’s book and enjoy the stories although we still borrow baby books for him.
He would “read” books by himself. Saying some of the parts that he could remember from the story as he turns the pages.
Has more imagination in his play. e.g. playdough meals, bear talks, pretend to sleep / talk on the phone, etc.
He can sing songs. and he can CHANGE the lyrics of a song. Meaning, he would sing in the tune of, for instance twinkle twinkle little star, but he would make up his own lines, and it makes sense 🙂
Still very attracted to Apple products. but now daddy has a new strategy. Daddy would ask Edward to look at the time on the iphone/ipad/ipod and ask Edward to read out the numbers. Once he is done with reading out the numbers on the digital clock, he would pass the gadget back to us 🙂 so easy. It has become a routine.
Naps on the mattress in his own room, rather than on his bed. I guess the mattress is closer to the door. I don’t know why too.
Now starting to enjoy using blankets. When Edward was a baby, he NEVER sleeps with a blanket. It will either wake him up or he will just kick it out of the way.
Goes to sleep in his own room, sometimes with daddy sitting outside the door, sometimes in. He will walk to our bedroom and sleep on our bed in the middle of the night. Less crying than when he was a baby. In fact, no crying, unless he has a nightmare of some sort.
More comfortable with the people he sees. He says hi on his own without being told.
He likes to hold the lift door for us to get in/out 🙂 such a sweet little boy
Likes to SNATCH toys from Oliver. Sometimes when he feels like it, he will exchange toys.
He is 89 cm tall. Which means he only has 1 cm more and he has to PAY when using a public transport here in Singapore!
14 kg 🙂 and still enjoys being carried by mummy and daddy 🙂
He will be going to SkyGym regularly starting from this coming Saturday! He LOVES jumping on the trampoline 🙂
Got him a lime green scooter. He can go straight 🙂 and turn right. but he can’t turn left 🙂 haha … hey he is TWO and he can ride a 3-wheeled scooter 🙂
He speaks in English to us and automatically switches to Lao when speaking to our helper. Smart little boy!
