Oliver is now 10 days to being 8 month old. But guess what? He’s CRAWLING. army-crawl. he goes ANYWHERE he wishes to.
He climbs. up to a stand. onto the sofa. onto Edward’s drawing table. up in his cot bed and standing. over my legs while i am on the floor. up toy boxes. up the bumbo chair. it’s TIRING following him and making sure he doesn’t fall and hit his precious head on the tile floor. but at the same time i’m happy that his physical development is going well.
and he has this cute way of acknowledging someone. He will raise up his right hand. arms straightened. and he will keep it there until someone notices it and talks to him about it. SO CUTE. he’s only 7 month old and he knows how to say “hi” to people! (in the act of raising up his arm)
he REMEMBERS places. people. there is this particular plant that he likes. We will walk pass it everyday. Every time we are about 3 metres to the plant, he will raise his arms up and keep looking at it. It’s a way of telling me that he wants to touch it. He will make noise too. uh-uh-uh.. SO CUTE.
Oliver can sit. but not unsupervised. He will still fall forward / sideways / diagonally / backward … it’s not because he can’t support himself. It’s just that he doesn’t know that he should not just drop down like that from a sitting position. It will hurt!
He laughs at peek-a-boo games with mummy / daddy / Edward.
He laughs at silly noises. Silly facial expressions.
That’s all I can think of for now. Will update more when I think of anything to add on.
