Thankful to be a mother

Since i was born, i have never felt anything like it; the warm sensation inside that i have for my sons, the pain that i feel when they get hurt, the happiness that takes over me when i see them laugh, and the will to wake up the next day for them.

I am just so thankful that I am given the chance to be a mother. I would have missed out on this wonderful feeling called “Mother’s love”, if I didn’t have any children.

I feel important that my children need me. Physically and emotionally. I feel important that they turn to me when they are down, they run to me when they are hurt, they happily show off their new skills to me when they learn, etc. and I am happy to be the place where they will look and run to whenever they need support, now and forever.

I would feel so sorry for them if they didn’t have a mother. Therefore, I will do everything within my capability to be with them for as long as they need me.

Yes, all parents want kids to come home. But the kids may choose not too due to various reasons. To stay with his own family? History may repeats itself.

What I meant was that if they think nobody else accepted them, or they think they had done a terrible mistake, we will always welcome them with open hearts and open arms.
