No routine = literal madness

For some reason, we have no routine at all while visiting Vientiane now.

What we get is a cranky toddler, bored baby and stressed mummy.

Meal time, nap time, play time is never the same For each day. And so I can’t predict / cannot follow my children’s hungry stomach, sleepy eyes, etc. and once I miss the cues, we will have a terrible time. And so the cycle goes.

Routine is very important to us. Without it, we can’t be happy. At least for now.

Back at home in singapore, everything was a routine. Everything was predictable. Mood swings preventable. Happy babies. Happy mummy. Happy daddy.

And yet some people just don’t get why I can’t skip my routine even for a day or a week. They don’t get the consequences of it, that’s why. They think I am an inflexible freak.
