22 month old Edward

This post is 9 days late. This is a rough description of Edward’s new developments from 21 months to 22 months old.

He has been adjusting well to sharing mummy with his younger brother. He learns that Oliver needs to drink milk and would normally let me nurse without a problem :). He plays by himself just fine (like he used to before Oliver was born).

He started colour painting.

He started LEGO.

He is in love with Lightning McQueen and Mater the Tow Truck.

When Oliver wakes up crying, he would run to the cot bed together with me and insert his arm through the side rails and pat Oliver, saying “don’t cry…”. Isn’t my son sweet?!

He can climb the stairs without holding onto anything for a few steps.

He is eating more and more of adult’s food. Partly because mummy doesn’t have time to cook his food.

He learnt the word ‘scared’. And is able to let us know when he is scared

He could go without his pacifier at awake times. If he asks for it, he would then realize he wasn’t going to get it, he would smile 🙂
