1 month old Oliver

So far so good =)

First one or two weeks Oliver appeared to be a rather easy baby. Sleep for long stretches and hardly cry. Third week onwards were full of crying and burping! Frequent night wakings as well as short naps during the day. But according to books and websites, it is normal to be ‘colicky’ at this age until 3 months old.

Yesterday and today Oliver appeared to pay more attention when being talked to. Eyes widen and body movements get calmer. On the other hand, if he was calm (at active alert state) and I talk to him, his movement will quicken and he appeared to be looking for milk! Maybe he could smell me!

If his eye catches the bed mobile (usually when I put him on the changing board), he will get very interested in it (only for about 1 or 2 minutes) and will keep looking at it.
